The Designer District will happily exchange or credit online purchases of full priced items, within 14 days of receiving your online purchase. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please be aware exchanges and credit notes can take up to 5 business days to process from delivered return.
All returned online items must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, free of damage, unaltered and with all original tags attached. Garments that are returned with make-up damage will be refused for exchange or return and sent back to the customer, at their cost.
Please replace garment in original packaging.
The Designer District do not accept returns on lingerie, swimwear and jewellery.
Please be careful when trying on garments – they must be in resalable condition upon return.
Items that are approved for exchange or credit, but have not been received within 14 business days (domestic customers only) or 21 business days (international customers only), will be refused exchange or return, and sent back to the customer, at their cost.
Faulty items must be returned for assessment via supplier before approval of a refund or replacement. Please note, return shipping costs on faulty items will be refunded only to the value of shipping charges originally paid.

All customers are asked to please write their provided RA number clearly on the outside of their return parcel and on Return Authorisation Form attached to original receipt. Failure to do so may result in delays in processing your return or exchange.
Australian customers that have requested an exchange must please include a pre-paid return post bag so their merchandise can be sent out in a timely manner. If a pre paid post bag is not included you will be re charged for the new postal expense.
We advise using Express Post or Regular with Tracking, in order to track your parcel.
International customers will be contacted upon receipt of their return to finalise payment for return postage on any exchanges.
CREDIT AUTHORISATION NUMBER
If the customer does not wish to exchange, they are entitled to receive a Credit Note for the full amount of the order (not including shipping costs).
This Credit Note Authorisation Number will be provided once the return has been delivered and assessed by a member of The Designer District.
This number will be sent to your assigned email, and can be then used for 12months from issue date.
Please treat this number as confidential as The Designer District takes no responsibility for credit note loss or misuse.
Sale and discounted items are non exchangeable or creditable.
If an item is deemed faulty a team member from The Designer District Claims Department will assess the item and consider if it is faulty. If the item is considered faulty it will be sent to the appropriate suppliers claims department for the appropriate assessment.
The supplier has the right to decide if the garment is to be repaired, replaced or issue the customer with a refund of the original amount of purchase. Faulty items are those that are considered to hold a manufacturing fault. These manufacturing faults can only be returned in a reasonable time frame being 6 months from date of purchase, accompanied by proof of purchase in a original transaction receipt.
Damage or faults that have been caused by the wearing of or caring of the product incorrectly are not considered faults. The Customer is required to read care labels provided on garment to refrain from damaging the item as claims will not be accepted under this circumstance.
